About the Department
The Department for Work with Youth, Spirituality, and Enlightenment was established on September 4, 2019. Based on its responsibilities, the department organizes spiritual and educational events at the institute aimed at instilling unwavering loyalty to national independence ideas, love for the motherland, faith in the noble goal of building a free and prosperous country, as well as fostering courage and selflessness in students. Additionally, to reveal the knowledge and potential of talented students, the department organizes and coordinates various scientific, creative, and artistic clubs, circles, and gatherings.
At the same time, the department oversees the organization of spiritual and educational activities in student dormitories and monitors the spiritual and educational life of the institute's Information Resource Center. In carrying out these activities, the department closely collaborates with the institute's public organizations, including the Trade Union, the Youth Union's primary organization, the Women's Council, and the departments of "Humanities" and "Mathematics and Natural Sciences."
The Department for working with Youth, Spirituality, and Enlightenment implements a long-term, large-scale spiritual and moral education program aimed at promoting human rights and dignity by establishing democratic principles based on national and universal values among the institute's team, particularly among students and youth. This program is focused on nurturing physically healthy, intellectually mature, open-minded, and independent-thinking young people.
The department operates in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, decisions, and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, orders of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, as well as the institute's internal regulations and the rules of this department.
The main goal of the Department for Working with Youth, Spirituality, and Enlightenment is to educate students and youth in the spirit of loyalty to national and universal values, expand their spiritual, aesthetic, and moral worldview, protect their minds from the influence of foreign ideologies, and nurture them as true patriots and dedicated citizens of an independent Uzbekistan.
Main Directions of Spiritual, Educational, and Moral Activities:
- Shaping students into true citizens of the independent Republic of Uzbekistan based on national and universal values.
- Preparing students to sincerely fulfill their civic and filial duties to the Motherland.
- Increasing students' sense of responsibility for mastering their profession to the highest level.
- Developing and improving students' personal qualities and unique individual characteristics.
- Promoting social activity, initiative, respect for education and the profession, and fostering a sense of social responsibility among students.
- Enhancing students' socio-political and legal awareness and expanding their critical and analytical thinking skills.
- Raising awareness among students about the negative consequences of harmful practices such as injustice, corruption, and regionalism.
- Organizing meaningful leisure activities for students and encouraging their engagement in scientific and creative pursuits based on their interests.
- Continuously improving targeted spiritual, moral, and educational work.
Main Tasks of the Department for Working with Youth, Spirituality, and Enlightenment:
- Promoting reforms being implemented in our country among student youth.
- Establishing activities aimed at fostering moral, aesthetic, political, legal, and artistic education among students.
- Organizing conferences, roundtables, and meetings dedicated to promoting national traditions and values.
- Assisting in improving efforts to enhance the spiritual and physical development of students.
- Defining priority areas for spiritual, educational, and moral work at the institute, developing necessary regulatory documents, and ensuring their implementation.
- Strengthening ideological immunity among students against religious extremism, terrorism, drug addiction, and organized crime.
- Encouraging youth interest in music, painting, literature, theater, and other forms of art, as well as supporting them in discovering and showcasing their talents.
- Creating necessary conditions for youth to improve their physical fitness and showcase their abilities in sports.
- Enhancing the spirituality of youth and raising the culture of reading among them.
- Systematically organizing activities to support female students in acquiring professional skills and crafts.
- Actively participating in improving spiritual and educational work in collaboration with the city and district branches of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, as well as other foundations and public organizations operating in the country.
