About the Department

 

The Human Resources Department began its operations on June 1, 2019. By the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated December 10, 2021, titled "Measures for the Radical Improvement of the System for Training Engineering Specialists for Economic Sectors Based on Innovation and Digitalization," with decree number PQ-42, the Karshi Institute of Irrigation and Agrotechnologies was established on the basis of the Karshi branch of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers.

 

The Institute's Human Resources Department carries out the following tasks:

 

  • Acts in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, orders, and resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions of the Oliy Majlis, the Labor Code, the National Program for Training Specialists, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as orders from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, the Regulations of the Human Resources Department, and the annual work plan of the Human Resources Department approved by the institute director each year.

  • Selects and recruits competent, highly qualified, and professionally knowledgeable employees with creative and scientific potential, high perception, and moral character, in line with the "National Program for Training Specialists", meeting modern requirements for the training process of specialists, in collaboration with the institute's leadership and department heads.

  • Processes documents related to the hiring, transfer, and dismissal of professors, teachers, teaching assistants, and administrative and support staff based on labor contracts.

  • Maintains and updates work books, and processes documents related to human resources.

  • Prepares and monitors leave schedules and ensures their implementation.

  • Processes and registers sick leave certificates.

  • Keeps records of incentives and rewards.

  • Prepares documents for assigning pensions to employees.

  • Processes business trips and prepares orders related to business travel.

  • Develops and continuously updates the database of institute staff.

  • Accepts, manages, and maintains personal documents of students for all forms of education.

  • Records and verifies orders related to students (admissions, transfers, reinstatements, removals from the student list, awards, etc.).

  • Manages and archives the personal documents of graduates and students removed from the student list according to established procedures.

  • Processes, records, and issues diplomas to graduating students.
