About the Department

The Department of " Mathematics, Physical Education and sports” was established on September 9, 2019 as part of the Faculty of “Mechanization of agriculture” as part of the Karshi branch of the Tashkent Institute of irrigation and agricultural mechanization engineers, established in accordance with the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 437 of May 28, 2019. With the establishment of Karshi institute of irrigation and agrotechnologies by the decree of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 10.12.2021 PQ-42, the department continued its activities under this name. The department was headed by Associate Professor, candidate of Agricultural Sciences Abdiev Anvarjon Almirzaevich from September 9, 2019 to February 3, 2021. From February 4, 2021 to May 12, 2022, the role of head of the department was performed by Mehrochev Barot Botir ugli.  Today, the department is headed by Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Rakhimov Kholmurot Abdullaevich in Pedagogical Sciences. The name of the department was changed by order of the director of the Institute No. 226 A/f of October 12, 2023, from October 3, 2023, the name of the department was changed to the Department “Mathematics, Physical Education and sports”. The team of the department conducts classes in all educational areas at the Institute. The department is strengthening relations with related departments of higher education institutions abroad and in the Republic, as well as with production and research and design organizations.

On Bugingi day, the Department's membership is 27, of which 19 are permanent members of the department, while 2 of the other 8 operate on an internal and 6 External seat basis. From the  teachers of the department to increase scientific and methodological potential of the Department, professor  A.Turgunov, associate professors N.Mustofoeva, H.Meyliyev, F.Jabborov, B.Ro 'zikulov and L.Bozorovas are adding a huge mass.

The department has cooperation agreements on the involvement of foreign specialists in the educational process, in order to attract foreign professors to the educational process, South Korea Inha University, Biomedical Science and Engineering Department, Smart Engineering Major, senior research scientist Toshpulatov Mukhiddin Amonkulovich and assistant professor Maksimova Shakhnoza Shamikhitovnas of Gachon University are working in the Department.

All existing educational areas of the institute are taught by professors and teachers of the Department: Higher Mathematics, Mathematics for economists, applied econometrics, mathematical modularity of Information Technology and processes, information technology in agriculture, information communication technologies in the field, Physics, Biophysics, Biophysics and radiobiology, Biophysics and agrometrology, Chemistry, Analytical and Physiological Chemistry and physical education and sports.

 Currently, the scientific potential of the department is 33.3 percent. In 2023, 2 professors and teachers defended the defense of the doctoral scientific work in philosophy. Teachers of the department issued 2 textbooks, 13 teaching aids, more than 15 monographs, more than 40 certificates of electronic products (DGU), as well as about 40 lecture texts and methodological manuals from all subjects belonging to the Department. As a result of scientific activity, more than 50 articles have been published in several scopus base indexing journals, HAC (OAK) base journals, as well as more than 60 articles in international journals, more than 100 theses in conferences. In 2023, the Department organized a Republican-wide scientific-practical conference on” Current problems and future prospects of digital technologies in the development of the field of Agrotechnologies".
