Department of Geodesy and Geoinformatics "TII AME" was established based on the decision of MTU No. 0l/l2-09-13-t 699 dated September 4, 2023 and the decision of the Institute Council meeting No. 2 dated September 4, 2023:
It started operating on September 4, 2023. Today, the department is headed by senior teacher F. Safarov. The team of the department focuses its attention on the training of highly qualified specialists, on the basis of all geodetic, cartographic and geoinformatics data implemented in the Republic of Uzbekistan, along with surface and underground engineering geodetic works and topographic maps to students. map drawing is being taught with the help of programs
Currently, 11 professors-teachers, including 1 associate professor, 2 senior teachers, 6 assistants, and 2 trainee teachers, are working in the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformatics for 588 students and are conducting scientific research.
